Me: "I'm gonna lock you out of the house tonight."
Her: "I'll just throw a brick through the window."
Me: "Where are you going to even get a brick from?"
Her: "I don't know but I'll find one. I'll get one from the woods!"
Me: "The woods?! Surely a building site would be better? Or do bricks not grow there?"
Her: "Bricks don't grow! What a stupid thing to say!!"
Me: "Then why would they be in the ****ing woods then?!"
Her: "Erm... erm... someone might have thrown it there!"
She believed that the off chance of finding a brick thrown into the woods was reason enough to go trapsing through the trees at night.
Hey, Porta Bangora looks like a fantastic place.
ReplyDeleteI've been considering a brick-picking holiday, and Porta Bangora looks like just the place.
Before I can plan my trip, please could you advise:
1. Will I need any special vaccinations?
2. Are there wild unicorns in Porta Bangora? (please say there are!)
Yours sincerely,
Porta Bangora fan
Greetings,
ReplyDeleteIn answer to your queries:
1) No vaccinations are needed... however, strong willpower may be necessary to avoid being sucked in to Arognab-Atrop - that's the crazy side of the island, currently led by 'The Girlfriend'.
2) All our Unicorns are currently kept in captivity as they kept mounting the tourists. However, you will find plenty of wild milk-squirting horses of doom.
Hope this helps,
Warden Of Bangora.
Greetings helpful Warden,
ReplyDeleteI've booked my tickets and am now preparing for my holi-holiday!
re: Arognab-Atrop, I am lacking in the willpower department, however I DO like to live dangerously* so I'll take that risk and see how it goes.
re: unicorns - ah well, it would have been a bonus to finally see them in the wild, but never mind. You've done the right thing.
Is there a MacDonalds?
Yours sincerely,
Porta Bangora fan!
(*Not enough to take on the wild unicorns though)
Dear misled fan,
ReplyDeleteMcDonalds?! Don't be so absurd! None of that filth will ever be served in my land... we purely live off the Wimpy food chain.
Warden Of Bangora.
Dear Warden,
ReplyDeleteWimpy? Seriously? Is it still 1980 in Porta Bangora?
I'm very disappointed, and I'm off down to the travel agents now to cancel my tickets. Hmph!
ex-PG fan
that was meant to say ex-PB!
ReplyDeleteI'm normally good at spelling but the shock of this Wimpey news has left me a bit numb, including my typing fingers.
